EXCLUSIVE: Hunter Biden’s wife, Melissa Cohen, gave a thumbs up on Tuesday when asked how her husband was doing amid a loud chorus of Republicans demanding answers about his foreign business dealings, video shows obtained exclusively by Fox News Digital.

Cohen, 35, was seen doing dry cleaning in Los Angeles when asked, “How’s Hunter? Is he okay?” — according to the video provided by BACKGRID.

Cohen responded with a slight nod and a thumbs-up before climbing into the back of a black SUV.

Cohen appeared to be accompanied by Secret Service agents wearing civilian clothes. It was reported last week that the Secret Service was shelling out $30,000 a month in public funds to rent a house near the Biden family’s $20,000 a month Malibu home.

Cohen, a South African filmmaker and activist, married Biden in May 2019 six days after they met and gave birth to their son, Beau, in May 2020.

“I instantly fell in love with her. And then I fell in love with her a little more each day”, Biden told ABC News in October 2019.

Cohen’s thumbs-up comes as her husband Hunter continues to lay low as Republicans on Capitol Hill push to investigate his overseas financial ties which have been a high-profile political issue since the bombshell New York Post report before the 2020 presidential election over the contents of a laptop he left at a Delaware repair shop.

The federal investigation into Biden, which began in 2018, intensifies as prosecutors with the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Delaware seek grand jury testimony regarding the sources of the first son’s foreign income, including from the Ukrainian company natural gas company Burisma Holdings Ltd., of which Biden served on the board. Prosecutors also questioned one of Biden’s associates about his 2018 drug and alcohol abuse, the Wall Street Journal reported.

Its foreign business connections were first reported in a Senate Republicans September 2020 Report but have gained traction in recent weeks as news outlets like the Washington Post and New York Times have come to authenticate thousands of emails from Biden’s infamous abandoned laptop after initially dismissing the scandal and original reporting from the New York Post during the 2020 election.

Hunter, who has categorically denied any wrongdoing, has not been charged with any crime related to the investigation.
