Biden commemorated the holidays on Sunday with an old photo of the couple on the beach with their children: Hunter Biden, 51, Ashley Biden, 40, and Beau Biden, who died in 2015 of brain cancer at 46.
She also remembered her own father, the late Donald Jacobs, a naval signalman during World War II whom Biden dubbed “my first hero”.
“If I close my eyes I can still hear her encouraging voice say, ‘Good for you, Jilly-bean,'” she wrote. “I miss him every day, especially on Father’s Day. My heart is with those who are missed by their fathers today as well.”

Will Smith took over hosting duties for his wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, in a special Facebook Watch episode “Conversation on the Red Table” Sunday, where he and Kevin Hart spoke about their biggest parenting mistakes and the life lessons they learned from their families.
Hart reflected on his 2018 scandal in which he was criticized for initially refusing to apologize for past homophobic tweets, which he said his 16-year-old daughter, Heaven, found particularly upsetting because “she couldn’t understand how people thought that about her father.”
“It was so difficult, because that’s when I started to realize how much my fame impacted my house,” Hart said.
Smith said he and his wife realized they had to tell their children everything themselves when it came to internet gossip about the famous couple.
“We’re just trying to get ahead so the kids know before the world knows it,” he added. “We had a couple who reached the kids before they had a chance and it’s excruciating.”

Chrissy Teigen expressed her gratitude for her husband, singer John Legend, on Sunday with a photo of him and their children, Luna, 5, and Miles, 3.

The legend came to Teigen’s defense this weekend after being charged bullying of fashion designer Michael Costello. The Teigen team released a statement claiming that Costello shared spoofed screenshots of messages with each other, and Legend wrote in a series of tweets that his wife’s alleged DM swap with Costello was “fabricated, completely. false, never happened “.
Teigen also nicknamed her Legend “rock of a husband” in a recent post on social media.
