The head of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, advised Apostle Johnson Suleman to be strong and courageous.
The clergyman gave the advice amid the sex scandal involving Omega’s fire departments general supervisor.
Nollywood actress Chioma Ifemeludike said she had a romantic relationship with Suleman.
Chioma recounted how they had sex on two separate occasions, revealing that she was paid.
In a statement Friday, Ayodele noted that the scandal was an attempt to bring down the ministry.
He said that as long as Suleman’s foundation is in Jesus, the storm will be overcome.
“The main person behind the attacks is a popular politician but in the long run God will rise up to fight his enemies,” he said.
Ayodele warned that when God is ready to fight back, “it will be very disastrous for the brains.”
“Apostle Johnson Suleman should not be too bothered by the recent scandals shaking his ministry,” he added.
“These are the devil’s stuff to distract from God’s mission for his ministry, it’s time for him to stay more focused.
“It’s not out of place that he’s going through this phase, but as long as Jesus is the foundation, the storm will be calm at the end of the day.”
