Romney, Murkowski and Collins: Weak Republicans

What part of a judge being soft on child porn offenders doesn’t he understand?

After embracing every perversion under the sun and proclaiming that all is good, Senate Democrats predictably voted 50 to 0 on Thursday to confirm Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson’s nomination to the Supreme Court.

That would include Joe Manchin. The West Virginia senator has stayed away from some of the Democrats’ worst schemes like “Build Back Better.” But he wouldn’t break ranks with this seriously questionable candidate Biden. Amazingly, 47 Republicans had the backbone to vote against her, with her fulfilling a promised quota regardless of any other considerations.

As for the three Republicans who voted to seat Judge Jackson — Mitt Romney of Utah, Susan Collins of Maine and Lisa Murkowski of Alaska — they’re the usual GOP weak sisters getting slapped for “bipartisanship” at a critical moment.

What’s wrong with putting Judge Jackson on the highest court in the land? For starters, there’s his fake ignorance of biological sex, a long record of overturned decisions, his declared neutrality about whether we have any “natural rights” from God, and his bizarre softness for sex offenders.

As Texas Senator Ted Cruz noted, his sentencing in child pornography possession cases was abysmal – 57% more lenient than the national average. In the most serious cases, those involving the distribution of child pornography, she received an average of 47% more lenient sentences.

While serving on the U.S. Sentencing Commission, she also asked if there could be “a less serious child porn offender who engages in the type of conduct at the group experience level because his motivation is the challenge, or to use technology”. Say what?

She questioned whether “people who are in this … find status in their participation in the community, but would be classified as not sexually motivated” and that she had “incorrectly assumed that child porn offenders are child molesters”. Sure. They are just “collectors” who like to see children raped.

Last week, the New York Post reported that Judge Jackson slapped the hand of a man who raped his 13-year-old niece, was convicted and then failed to register as a sex offender.

Prosecutors asked Judge Jackson to sentence him to two years for the tape violation. Instead, she sentenced him to 12 months, including time served, and he was released after five months. A little over a year later, he was charged with another sexual assault.

Several Republican senators, including Mr. Cruz, Josh Hawley of Missouri, Mike Lee of Utah and Tom Cotton of Arkansas, have decried Ms Jackson’s soft spot for sex offenders, which doesn’t seem to bother the three Republican squishes .

The Republican Party has long had a cache of collaborators who encourage liberal assaults on the moral and civil order. Mr. Romney actually participated in a Black Lives Matter protest. BLM is a Democratic organization founded by Marxists that demonizes white people and cops and wants to end the nuclear family.

Mr. Romney also presided over the creation of gay “marriage” in Massachusetts. As governor, he threatened to fire clerks who failed to issue such licenses before the law was even changed. You could say he greased the shoes of the Supreme Court’s autocratic 2015 decision striking down all state marriage laws.

When Republicans do things like this, they earn “a weird new respect” from Washington’s permanent elites.

On April 2, “Never Trumper” Peggy Noonan, whose praise of Barack Obama in 2008 helped her against Republican nominee John McCain, wrote a flattering retrospective in The Wall Street Journal on Richard Nixon’s concession of the election. from 1960 to John F. Kennedy. Mr. Nixon only lost because of blatant and obvious voter fraud in Chicago and Texas. Many, including former President Dwight Eisenhower, urged him to challenge the results, but Mr. Nixon refused.

Presiding over the Senate certification of JFK’s election, Vice President Nixon urged “those who lose” to “accept the verdict and support those who win.”

Ms Noonan, who wrote this to slap Mr Trump, swooned: ‘For once his colleagues have paid tribute to this complicated man, with a standing ovation that will only stop when Nixon bows a second time .”

Well yes. Democrats won’t hesitate to hail Republicans who “lose gracefully.” In fact, for some, that’s what the GOP is all about.

This is why the powers that be had to get rid of former President Donald Trump by any means possible, including a Russian collusion hoax encouraged by the FBI and Big Tech and a massive cover-up of the Biden family scandals.

As for the Supreme Court, we will now likely have another radical jurist who will bend the law to advance the “transformation” of America into a socialist version of Sodom and Gomorrah.

This should motivate all freedom-loving Americans, especially parents, to join the growing resistance to take back our country from corrupt ruling elites, including weak Republicans.
