Russia sanctions Joe and Hunter Biden, Hillary Clinton, etc.

Russia on Tuesday announced sanctions against Americans, including President Biden, his scandal-ridden son Hunter Biden and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

In a statement, the Russian Foreign Ministry said the restrictions – which came amid waves of sanctions by the United States and its allies that crippled the Russian economy following the invasion of Ukraine – were “the consequence” of what he called the “extremely Russophobic policy” of the White House. .”

The move bars the named individuals from entering Russia and freezes any assets they hold there, according to the bbc. Moscow called the restrictions “personal sanctions” and a “stop list” based on “the principle of reciprocity”.

The Foreign Office also warned that additional sanctions would follow against other unspecified “Russophobic” US officials, military officers, lawmakers, business owners and media personalities.

The measures – which target 13 Americans, including Secretary of State Antony Blinken, Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin and General Mark Milley, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff – will not prevent them from engaging in high-level communications with Russia, the news agency said.
