The time for the Conservatives to play defense is over. Since the elections, the left has been trying to put us back on the defense. We cannot let this happen. To win the culture war, the Conservatives must admit how much we have already lost.
Since the 1960s, American conservatives have slowly abandoned to the radical left the institutions that form the moral backbone of our society: marriage and family, the public school system, music and entertainment.
Enough is enough. Conservatives and thoughtful people across the country must now offend the Culture War if we are to win. We can no longer just whine and complain among ourselves about the degradation of society. We must recover, recover and restore our culture.
I know firsthand the rise the Conservatives are facing. Facebook demonetized my page, and on YouTube my videos were ripped off and censored for talking about the unethical use of puberty-blocking drugs on children for the purpose of chemically castrating them. At my mere mention of masks and COVID-19, Instagram slapped a danger warning on top of my content.
I wish these were isolated incidents. They are not. I am far from being the only conservative facing this censorship.
But Americans don’t want to sit back and watch Big Tech suppress conservative voices on social media and goofy Republicans in Congress clamor for their radical left-wing enemies. People want more than official narratives. They want reality.
The cultural war raging in our country is not just partisan bickering over what is true and what is false. It’s a battle for reality.
The Conservatives have spent decades defending the one-meter line, gradually nodding as we approach the point of no return. Make no mistake, conservatives claim cultural victories – especially when it comes to public opinion on abortion and life – and should be proud of them. But on the vast majority of cultural battlefields, the radical left deludes itself beyond reality. Examples abound.
Are we going to let biological men compete with women in sports, and even Pause women’s world records?
Are we going to allow state governments to deny funding to a shelter for women and girls who have been sexually trafficked simply because it is intended for biological women, not biological men who identify as women?
Are we going to stay silent while the left militarizes emergencies to restrict our rights and shut down our businesses? Will we obey the anti-science public health officials who force our children to wear masks and close schools even though children are more likely to die from the flu than from COVID-19 and schools are not an important vector of transmission?
Shall we sit down while Asian Americans face discrimination from college admissions to succeed and the left tells white children that they are inherently racist because of the color of their skin?
Are we going to sit idly by while elected Democrats and on cable news trample on the American idea of equality for all and instead try to normalize “fairness” – a euphemism for denying rights to some people on the internet? based on unchanging characteristics like skin color, race, gender, religion and sexuality?
It’s not the America I want for my daughter, and that’s why I started The Liz Wheeler Show. It is time to fight the radical left’s assault on reality and do something about it. Our culture is in critical condition. We can no longer play defense.
As of 2019, Millennials have overtaken baby boomers as the largest living adult population in the United States, according to the U.S. Census Bureau. This means that, for the foreseeable future, in every presidential and midterm election, Millennials have the potential to be the largest voting demographic in America, if they vote. These same millennials, between the ages of 25 and 40, have spent much of their lives brainwashed with critical race theory, political correctness, and anti-Christian propaganda in public schools, online, and in Hollywood.
My generation needs a decisive voice for reason. A voice unchecked by corporate overlords, undeterred by leftist hatred, uncensored, unapologetic, unafraid of playing the offense in the American Cultural War, and grounded in the principles that make our nation the last best hope in the world. world.
We must be optimistic skeptics. We need to read the scientific journals on COVID-19, hide and lock ourselves in. We have to download Planned Parenthood’s annual report to see for ourselves how the organization is deploying questionable accounting for its hugely misleading claim that abortion is only a small part of its business. We need to sift through the Georgia, Florida, and Texas voting laws line by line to see what provisions the bills actually contain (and what they don’t). We have to do the research.
If we don’t fight, if we don’t refuse to back down, if we don’t offend the radical left’s attack on reality, we will lose. We already see this when we examine the enormous power wielded by teacher unions after the right gave up the fight for public schools decades ago. Imagine if all the institutions in our country were compromised at this level.
Conservatives need bold leaders who care about efficiency, instead of just whining in a vacuum. We must not be afraid to go on the offensive to win the culture war. Each issue. Every controversy. Everytime.
